She is a daughter of former North Korean citizens but it's not clear whether her parents are north korean defectors or just displaced people (Silhyang-min)....In South Korea, Moon Jae-In, a famous politician, and Han Myungsook, a former premium minister, are also were born in North Korea but they are not North Korean defectors.

    문재인 대표는 경남 거제도에서 태어났습니다.

    I just confused because Moon always emphasized his identity is from NK. but She never mentioned she was born in NK...If she was, the article about her should be in top news papers like WSJ, CNN, ABC, and so on. Only, Korean local newspaper (Hankook Ilbo in US which is only for Korean Americans) posted this thing only.

    여기까지가 그녀의 기사중에서 유일하게 북한과의 연관성을 알게하는 단서입니다. 발제문을 누가 썼는지는 모르겠지만 발제문에는 코니 정이 '이전에 북한 시민의 딸'이라고 했고 문재인이나 한명숙도 북한에서 태어났지만 탈북민이라고 하지는 않는다라고 분명히 언급하고 있듯 코니 정의 부모님 또한 탈북민이라고 보기는 어렵지 않을까요? 휴전 이전에 남한으로 왔다면 말이죠. 근데 부모님도 아니고 코니 정 본인을 탈북민으로 선전하고 이용하려는 사람들이 문제인거죠.

    Yes, that's what I wanted to say. She isn't North Korean defector. She lived in LA when she was 12. Now, she is 26 or 27. So, her parents came to America at latest fourteen years ago. But, fourteen years ago, US governemnt didn't accept North Koran defectors as refugees to US....Long ago, a North Korean pilot imigrated to US but he was very special and received money of $100,000 from a US foundation because he brought a MiG plane which is the first Eastern plane that American can investigate...
